Warren’s Vision

New Voice, New Vision!

Let’s get back to basics by putting students and teachers first so that every decision is made with the classroom in mind.

Let’s engage the DeSoto community and district alumni through an effective, hands-on alumni association, realizing that “ALL OF US” is better than any “ONE OF US.”

Let’s be more financially responsible, innovative, and cognizant of the needs of out students and parents so that the fiscal decisions we make do not negatively affect DeSoto public education.

Let’s adopt a Zero Tolerance Plus discipline program that recognizes that bad behavior is unacceptable and will be punished fairly and consistently; but also offers our most venerable students the tools and guidance needed to become productive members of the DeSoto community.

Finally, let’s THINK GLOBALLY BUT LOCALLY so that we can adequately prepare our students to compete in an increasingly competitive global society, without losing sight of the timeless “Eagle Pride” that continues to carry our city!

Hello Warren Jr., I know you don’t know me personnally, but I’m your mom’s 3rd or 4th cousin, orginally from Dumas, Ark. Now residing in Columbia, SC., after retiring from the U.S. Army. Just want to say, keep doing what you are doing. We need more great, smart, and strong young men like yourself to want to help and work in there community. Keep the faith, and God will continue to bless you.
